Room or Guesthouse Rates

Normal Room Reservation    $70

Be sure to call for the applicable rate.  Special rates may apply during peak seasons, and discounted rates are available for  extended stays.

Guesthouse Reservation  $180

To reserve the entire guesthouse, you will probably want to reserve well ahead of the date needed.  Again, discounts apply for extended stays.

Hunting Packages

Pheasant and Turkey Hunting--Guests with applicable licenses have access to hunt innkeeper's land.  Minimum of 3 hunters required to stay a minimum of 3 nights. $100 per person per day.

Deer Hunting--Contact us.  We will be applying for transferable non-resident deer permits.  Hunt for the entire deer season packages available at the present time; these are available on a first come-first served basis.

Women's Retreats

Girlfriend Getaway and Prairie Connections Packages--Includes appetizers the first night; all meals the second day; breakfast the following morning; and a day of mini-workshops.  Schedule begins at 6:00 first evening and checkout time is 11:00 a.m. on third day.  $200 basic fee per person, with minimum of 3 registrants required.  For some workshops, such as scrapbooking, you may need to purchase or bring additional supplies.

Gift Packages

Travel to Denmark . . . in Kansas Gift Certificates--Give your friends or family a special gift for Christmas, birthday, or just for fun; buy them a gift certificate to stay in Denmark.  Denmark, Kansas, of course.  The cost of the certificate would be as listed above for off-peak season rates.  Gift certificates are also available for the women's retreats or hunting packages.  Any of the following gift packages may be added into the total price for an extra special gift.

Roses and Chocolate--Chocolate confections and three roses in a vase--$30

PrairieSide Basket--Chocolates; Beyond the Prairie Wind, a non-fiction account of prairie settlement by Ruth Sorensen;  tea and hot chocolate packets; wildflower seeds; and coffee mug--$45

Decorated Cake--A 12 serving cake decorated with either your chosen colors or chef's choice.  Other sizes and options are available, and rates will vary according to choice--$40

Policy

The inn is a non-smoking environment, and outdoor shelter is available for pets, but no pets are allowed inside the inn. Please respect this policy as an extra $250 fee will be assessed if pets or smoking are found inside the guesthouse.  Normal check-in time is 3:00 p.m. and check out time is 11:00 a.m., but we are flexible and make every attempt to meet your schedule.  For all hunting, women's packages, and extended stays, we require a 50% deposit to reserve the guesthouse.  We realize that emergencies do happen and, therefore, if you contact us 48 hours or more ahead of your scheduled stay, you may apply your 50% deposit toward another open date within 6 months of the first reserved time.

Location

From Exit 216 off I-70, travel 17 miles north, 2 miles west, and .2 mile north.

Or travel down Highway K-18 until you reach the Denmark intersection.  This intersection is located 7 miles west of Lincoln or 6 miles east of Sylvan Grove.  Turn north at that intersection and drive 3 miles north, turn left and drive 2 miles west, and then make a right at the curve and go .2 mile north.  The inn is located to your right at the bottom of the first little knoll.
